During my time at Regency Fireplace Products, I worked on the development of an advanced thermal management system for decorative fireplaces, and led the design of the companies largest fireplace to date. The work focusing primarily on sheet metal fabrication and specialized glass manufacturing while conducting extensive in-house testing, verification, and certification.
I designed and patented the world's first flush external power vent system, solving cross-flow suppression issues using CFD analysis and custom airflow resonation chambers to achieve optimal combustion efficiency while maintaining the clean aesthetic demanded by luxury markets.
Beyond core engineering work, I expanded the company's capabilities by learning to develope interactive VR showrooms for trade events and dealer locations, and generated detailed product renderings to speed up delivery times to our dealers.
